I often use port forwarding to a small cloud server to catch OAuth2 redirects and process them in my local application. This could be useful for such a purpose although would require stable domain name to be pointed to by CNAME record in DNS and ideally route whitelists so my whole app is not exposed to the internet whilst debugging.
